Millennium London Mayfair re-branded as The Biltmore

Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is to reopen in spring 2019 as part of a rebrand project with Hilton and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels.

The Biltmore, Mayfair will be the first UK property from LXR Hotels & Resorts when it is launched later this year.

The property has been closed since July 2018 to undergo a multi-million-pound redevelopment, with its new design spearheaded by Goddard Littlefair.

In addition, the hotel will showcase a 500 sqm ballroom, and the smaller Waterloo, Manhattan and Kendal Suites.

Last year LXR, a collection of independent hotels, launched its first hotel in Dubai at Habtoor Palace, a 234-bedroom luxury hotel situated on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Mr Tan Kian Seng, interim group chief executive officer of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc, said: "We are excited to introduce our flagship hotel, The Biltmore, Mayfair, in conjunction with Hilton's new luxury collection - LXR Hotels & Resorts. This hotel located on the prestigious Grosvenor Square in Mayfair, has undergone a complete refurbishment.  With its prime location, bespoke products, and quintessential services under LXR, The Biltmore, Mayfair will be fit for royalty, well-travelled guests from around the world and senior corporate executives. We look forward to welcoming our first customers in the coming spring."

"As a client of Key Reservations since they started in 1991, Devro plc have found the service to be extremely efficient. Key are always able to offer the best rates as well as expert advice. Apart from being very reliable, they always manage to get the necessary accommodation for me. Having been approached by other agents in the past, I have found that no one offers the choice or rates similar to Key Reservations. Key take all the hassle out of booking bedrooms and conferences which is a big benefit to someone in my position."
