Leaf Hospitality to manage Hampton by Hilton Blackburn

Hampton by Hilton Blackburn will sit at the heart of the £100m Frontier Park mixed use development.

Leaf Hospitality has revealed it has been appointed to manage the new 150-guest room Hampton by Hilton Blackburn, the first internationally-branded hotel in the Lancashire town slated to open in 2020.

The contract sees Leaf Hospitality expand a property management portfolio that currently includes DoubleTree by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton and Holiday Inn Express branded properties across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire.

Hampton by Hilton Blackburn will sit at the heart of the £100m Frontier Park mixed use development, a prime location for commerce, logistics and manufacturing located just two-miles from the town centre and with immediate access to Junction 6, M65.

Richard Farrar, managing director of Leaf Hospitality, said: “We’re delighted to be working with the team at Monte Hospitality Ltd and to evolve our relationship with Hampton by Hilton. We’ll manage this new property like it’s our own, blending an approach focused on profitability and guest satisfaction with integrity and entrepreneurial flair.

“Frontier Park in Blackburn is one of the largest commercial developments in north-west England, offering excellent connectivity across Lancashire, a county which has seen its visitor numbers grow for six consecutive years.”

He added: “This property brings a global brand to the town, a commercial and educational hub close to the natural beauty of the Pennines and, of course, home to Blackburn Rovers.”
