Celtic Manor resort in Wales has completed a £600k refurbishment of its gym, including the purchase of state-of-the-art technology.

The resort has introduced brand new Technogym equipment in each of its three health clubs; The Forum in the Resort Hotel, Dylans at Celtic Manor Golf Club, and Springs at Coldra Court Hotel.

The new equipment includes Technogym Skill Bike, Skill Row and Skill Run machines as well as equipment from the Technogym bio strength range.

Steve Hamblin, head of Leisure and Activities, said: “Our members and hotel guests are already seeing the benefit of using the new equipment and we have had lots of positive feedback on what they are adding to the workout experience.

“The connection between physical and mental health is becoming more and more important and the new year is always a great time to reassess your wellbeing as well as your fitness. So this refurbishment across our health clubs could not have been better timed.

He added: “We are seeing people who haven’t used the gym for a while coming back to our health clubs to check out the improvements and we are also seeing a lot of enquiries for new leisure memberships. Our qualified instructors are ready to help people get the most out of this fantastic new equipment and achieve their fitness goals in 2023.”

“I have been using Key Reservations for nearly 10years now, their service is second to none.  Within my role at Finsbury Food Group, it is a weight off my mind that I have Michelle at the other end of a phone or email who will help me out no end.  The service they provide is excellent, the whole team are very friendly and helpful.  The knowledge and advice they offer about various hotels and meeting venues is invaluable, they take out all the hassle of looking for accommodation and meeting venues.  I don’t know what I would do without them!”
