From school I joined the hotel industry working in operations for hotel groups such as Stakis, Queens Moat Houses and Jarvis Hotels, all names now long gone from the industry.
I joined Key in 1996, founded by my mum, my plan was to stay for a couple of years to help out, then move on. In 2008 I bought the business and have over seen many changes and challenges, however I still love the industry.
Personal:

I have worked within the hospitality industry for over 25 years. I have held various management roles from operations and recruitment, with the last 10 years in hotels being within various commercial leadership roles. I have worked with some of the most known hotels brands and with some of the leading hotel ownership and management organisations. Although based from Scotland, I have worked extensively throughout the UK within many different markets.
I made the decision to transition to the TMC world and joined Key Reservations in December 2019. I love the scope of my role from account management to business development to supporting the strategy for the growth and future direction of the business.
Personal:
I am lucky enough to live within the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. When I am not working or travelling the country – I will be found in the stunning local countryside or halfway up (sometimes at the top) of a hill whatever the weather.

My career in hospitality began with working at Lochgreen Hotel, Troon while I was still at school. I worked in various roles across most of the owners establishments from Kitchen Assistant to Bar Manager. As much as I loved the face to face customer interaction and the industry, I knew that I wanted to diversify in to the field of reservations, meetings and events.
I started my journey at Key Reservations in June 2008. I joined with knowledge from a hotel background which helps to achieve what is best for our client. I progressed to the role of Reservations manager and have been lucky to recruit an amazing reservations and events team.

I have a Retriever/Pointer Cross called Amber. If we are not at home, you will find us at Barassie Beach on the Ayrshire coast walking Amber or watching the sun set over the Isle of Arran.
